“You can get past the dead end. You can break through the ceiling. I did and so have countless others.”

Have a patient with a cerumen impaction? Try non-children’s liquid Colace instead of expensive earwax removal products.

Liquid Colace dissolves and loosens cerumen just as well as products like Debrox, but at a fraction of the price.

Instill about 1ml of liquid Colace into the ear while the patient lies on their side. Let it sit in the canal for about 10-15 minutes and then proceed with irrigating the ear as usual with warm water.

If you cannot find liquid Colace, then break open the Colace capsules and use about 2 capsules instead.
