Have a patient with opioid use disorder? Are you going to begin treatment with Suboxone or buprenorphine monotherapy?

It is usually recommended to prescribe buprenorphine as a single daily dose, but patients feel a more “steady state of normalcy” and have decreased cravings when it is dosed twice daily! This is especially true for the individual who also has chronic pain, but they do even better when the dosing is split up to 3x daily.
