Marketing Tip Monday #2: Your Website Speed!

Internet Speed Test Speedometer - mohamed_hassan / Pixabay

Did you know that your websites speed is absolutely critical to your SEO (search engine optimization) strategy?

1 in 4 people will leave a website if it takes longer than 4-6 seconds to load!

What does this mean? That you could be LOSING potential patients due to your sites load speeds.

Additionally, Google and Bing rank your website on searches based off your sites speed. Slower loading sites will not be pushed to the top of the results pages because it is deemed as a “sub optimal experience” for their users. Basically, the faster your site, the higher your chances are of being seen on Google searches! This is VERY important to the overall marketing strategy of your practice.

The goods news is that this is something that can EASILY be fixed and optimized on your site in a matter of 15 minutes.

The first thing you need to do is go to Googles PageSpeed Insights and see where your site ranks:

If your site does not have a score greater than 90, then you need to enhance your speeds.

If you are tech savvy, then you can do this yourself by creating an account with a company called NitroPack. All they do is speed up your website, so it becomes a better user experience, which in turn results in better SEO and more patient conversions! Do not use the free option, use the tier above that. It is worth the $210 a year. Trust me on this.

If you cannot do this yourself, then reach out to your web developer and have them use the NitroPack on your site. You will not regret it!
