Marketing Tip Monday #31: Link Outs to Improve Your Nurse Practitioner Practices Website SEO

A critical component to building out the SEO (search engine optimization) of your website is linking to other high-quality websites throughout the content of your page. This will increase your organic rankings on search engines, more specifically Goggle, which will in turn rank you at the top of searches that your potential patients will be doing.

Having a solid SEO strategy in place is CRITICAL to your practices marketing strategy and patient acquisition. So, you need to be doing everything in your power to optimize your pages SEO and linking out to other pages is just one tool in your toolbelt to assist you.

Here is you what you do:

  1. Find websites that talk about the services you are offering. Think of scientific journals, blogs, and other websites that cover the details of the service line you are offering.
  2. Make a list of the links for those sites.
  3. Go into the back end of your webpage and begin highlighting text in your websites content and creating links within that text to the above websites.
  4. Rinse and repeat as many times as you can.

It is that simple folks. Doing this will increase your pages link outs which will therefore increase your SEO rankings. What does this mean? More visibility on Google which will ultimately result in MORE PATIENTS!
