Today we will be talking to Mindy who is currently working full time in a family medical practice. She recently started a side hustle providing women’s health services and hormone replacement therapy. Business has been on the slow side, and she is having difficulty gaining traction in her new practice as she continues to work full-time. She is needing assistance with marketing but more importantly, she is needing help finding her focus and niche. We discuss how to stay focused and how to build out a practice with a specific focus.
Reminder: The Elite Nurse Practitioner Show will be released every Thursday! You can listen to the podcast either directly through the main Elite Nurse Practitioner website (LINK HERE) or your favorite streaming service. The podcast is on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and Amazon Music! So, PLEASE SUBSCRIBE AND GIVE US A LIKE AND POSITIVE REVIEW! It would mean the world to me.
Also, be sure to share this with all your other nurse practitioner sisters and brothers. The more people who know the process on how to break free, the better our profession will be!
P.S. If you have a problem in your professional life and are needing a one-on-one consultation with me and want to be on the show, then PLEASE email me at theelitenp@elitenp.com. This only works if I can interview and consult with YOU!

What in your opinion have been some of the best Niche practices in Texas since we have to have physician oversight? I’m a new FNP and am interested in different avenues for myself and wife who is also an FNP.
Thank you for a response, it would greatly be appreciated.
Roy,
I think HRT or weight loss are safe bets. The thing here though is to make sure you do some basic market research and deliver the need in your area.
