Today we’ll be talking to Jessica, a Family Nurse Practitioner. She’s currently starting her own practice but is dealing with some non-compete issues with her previous employer; she needs assistance to work through this situation and decide which services she could offer in her practice.
One thing we learn in this episode it’s that you must always be sure you understand the clauses and limitations when signing a non-compete, especially when you’re a new grad without a lot of experience or if you have the goal of opening your practice down the line.
Reminder: The Elite Nurse Practitioner Show will be released every Thursday! You can listen to the podcast directly through the main Elite Nurse Practitioner website or your favorite streaming service. The podcast is on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and Amazon Music! So, PLEASE SUBSCRIBE AND GIVE US A LIKE AND POSITIVE REVIEWS! It would mean the world to me.
Also, be sure to share this with all your other nurse practitioner sisters and brothers. The more people who know the process of how to break free, the better our profession will be!
P.S. If you have a problem in your professional life and need a one-on-one consultation with me and want to be on the show, then PLEASE email me at theelitenp@elitenp.com. This only works if I can interview and consult with YOU!
