Today we’ll be talking to Tasha, a Family NP. Tasha started her practice about a year ago and now works full-time on it. She provides hormone replacement services and IV therapy. The practice is booming, and she needs help overcoming the business’ growing pains.
In this episode, we talk about the importance of keeping it simple. You don’t need a step-by-step business plan on how to proceed. Just get started, don’t complicate things along the way, and don’t give up. Listen to your patients, follow the NP model, and you’ll do great.

This was the first episode I listened to and I’m so glad I found this podcast! I loved at around 12:40 when you said, about owning a business, “you’re rolling dice over and over again”…“the risk is calculated and in reality isn’t that much of a risk”….“this is just another risk you have to take and you have to look at it that way”

Exactly… you are taking a risk, but at the end of the day it should be calculated and when you look at it from an objective standpoint, there really isnt that much of a risk if you are reasonable in your approach
